I Street Advocates Named Top Lobbyists for 2025

2025 proved to be one of the most dynamic and unpredictable years for advocacy in recent history. Political shifts, regulatory uncertainty, and a rapidly evolving legislative, judicial, and administrative landscape created challenges that demanded agility, creativity, and unwavering commitment to our clients' missions.

Despite these challenges, I Street Advocates is proud that The Hill named each member of our team as one of 2025’s Top Lobbyists. From protecting the retirement security of hundreds of thousands of postal workers to advancing consumer protections in more than a dozen states, pushing back against media consolidation, and defending biomedical research, our work has made a tangible difference in the lives of everyday Americans.

For Sue Emmer, who founded I Street Advocates more than 25 years ago, this recognition reflects the firm's enduring commitment to its core values. "I'm incredibly proud of how much we've grown. Not just in size or recognition, but in our capacity to make a real difference for workers, patients, physicians, independent businesses, and consumers," Emmer said. "That's always been our north star, and it's what drives us every single day."

As we look toward the challenges ahead in 2026, I Street remains committed to the principles that have guided us for 25 years: tenacious advocacy, strategic creativity, and an unwavering focus on results that matter to real people.
